These are typical houses in this part of Bolivia. Adobe bricks with thatch roofs. While driving to Mizque the bolt holding the alternator onto the vehicle became loose and fell off. So we were stuck on the side of the road when this truck drives by. We ask him if he could help us and he runs to his truck and pulls out a nut, bolt and washer that fits perfectly. Twenty minutes later with a little of Wilf´s magic we are back on the road. What are the odds of that happening? We are literally in the middle no where in an 1800 type setting. And a bolt appears. God Is Good

Picture of the Bridge. This road is like continually driving on rumble stripes.

Veiw from the bridge

This is the road to Mizque. Our average speed for the journey was around 40 kph. We left Cochabamba at 11 Am and arrived in Mizque around 3 pm. The following pictures may cause some concern because this is unlike any road i have ever been on. Single lane with huge drop off into the valley or canyon below. But the coutry is absolutely beautiful.

Our schedule takes us to Mizque tomorrow and we are told that we will not have access to the internet while we are away in Mizque building houses. So from Monday morning until Sunday afternoon we will not be able to update the blog. But come Sunday night there should updates.

Thanks for your continued prayers
